Terroir & grape varieties
Born on the clay-limestone soils of the La Livinière cru, this wine blends Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. The vines, farmed under certified organic agriculture, give concentrated, balanced grapes picked at full ripeness.
Winemaking & ageing
Machine harvest followed by careful sorting. Full destemming, fermentation in concrete vats and regular punch-downs to draw out colour and structure. Ageing takes place in one- and two-year-old barrels to refine the tannins without masking the fruit.
Tasting note
The deep, violet-tinged robe announces a wine of real intensity. The nose, powerful and complex, reveals black fruit, clove and liquorice. On the palate the texture is velvety, balanced and reassuring. Time-softened tannins give way to a generous, harmonious finish. A red of the South, proud and sincere, like the people who make it.
Food pairings
Enjoy with a grilled rib of beef, a beef bourguignon, charcuterie tapas or a mature cheese. This is the wine of long, convivial meals shared with friends.
Serving & cellaring
- Serving temperature: 17 to 18 °C
- Cellaring potential: 6 to 7 years
